Dear Friends
What can I say? I am touched by your concern, your comments and your email. Just a brief update. I've been waylaid by a reaction I had to the anesthesia used for my oral surgery which required resuscitation and was then followed by complications from the pain meds which caused the most hellacious side effects. I am grateful for the intervention of friends, especially Pamela, who immediately responded and stayed by my side until DH could get home from work (he works at a remote station in Alaska and this happened on his two weeks away). I am slowly recovering, but I can't imagine that I will be pumping out many projects around here for awhile.
Thank you for all the personal emails and blog comments. I will try to answer them as I am able, but please forgive me if it takes me awhile to communicate. My strength is still limited.
Hugs to you all! I hope to be able to catch up with all your projects soon as well.
Charity

Charity, praise God you're able to post at all. I am going to continue praying for you, your husband and your sons. What a blessing to have a friend like Pamela.
Oh Charity! I am so sorry. I knew it was bad but didn't realize just how bad it had gotten. Please know that I will continue to pray that you will regain all your strength and energy back soon! Thank God you are on the way back to health! Thanks for the update and I look forward to seeing more projects in the near future!
I was just wondering about you today. Take it easy, ok?
Oh, my! I'm so glad you're through the worst of it...be gentle with yourself now! Hugs!!
...what they said!
I'm so glad you were able to post and let us know. That's one of the things about online friendships...it's so easy to lose track of people when you or they have crises.
Charity,
I'm sorry to hear about what you've been going through! I'll continue to pray for you.
So hoping for a continued, successful recovery! I had no idea you had such an experience.
How frightening! Thank God you are ok! Hope you will soon be back to normal. {{hugs}}
What a scary day you had...Hope all is better soon. Take Care, MISSY
Charity, thanks for letting us know that you're okay. It may be easy to lose track of online friends, but on the other hand, there are a lot more of us out here wishing you well. Get better soon, get your strength back, and let us know once in a while how you're doing. (Promise we won't expect another 100 skirts until you're up for it!) Be well.
I am so sorry this happened to you. I am late to this news, having been away a lot lately, but am really sorry to hear of all you have been thru. I am so glad you are on the mend and hope your good health returns real soon.
