Artsy Mama's Bloggers Tea Party

Thank you so much to Artsymama for putting together this blogging party. I'm fairly new to blogging so I hope I "do it right." We were invited to put together a post that represents our idea of "artful blogging" or to do a tutorial if we wished. What I have particularly enjoyed when traveling through the blogosphere are the gorgeous pics of people's creations. The eye candy. So I hoped to put together some photos that would be eye candy for my party guests. I'm already in the mood for Fall as you can tell and put together some centerpieces on primitive tray, at the base of candlesticks and on cake plate. The photo collage is followed by link to webpages that offer tips for creating fall centerpieces of your own!

Oh, you're killing me! I'm so ready for fall, for fall weather and fall decorating but since the temps are near 100 right now I'm just gonna have to stare and your pretties and be satisfied with that!

So pretty! It's hard to believe some people are gearing up for fall. In the tropical climate where I live, fall won't arrive till...Uh...I think sometimes around Christmas! :)

Very nice, and thanks for gathering all those cool tutorials. I just LOVE fall.

I feel badly for you ladies in sweltering climates. Here in Alaska our summer highs MIGHT reach mid-70s, but mid 60s to low 70s is more the norm. This morning I noticed what we here in Alaska call "termination dust" (a sprinkling of now on the distant mountains heralding the end of summer). Our Fall will be arriving in just a another week or two.

Oh, my what a treasure trove! Makes me long for fall!

I love your blog header, too.

Thanks, Barb. I made the header using Photoshop-altered snippets from personal creations - with the exception of the clock. :)

Love Love Love all the links. I live in the desert so we don't really have a fall season. I still decorate it reminds of when I live in Colo.

I've been out of town and just now getting to all the parties! I'm enjoying the fall pictures here! It sure cools off the triple digit heat wave we're having right now!
