100th Post Give Away

This is my 100th Post and in honor of such, I will be giving away the cupcake stand with cloche scene below! Just leave a comment if you wish to have your name dropped in the hat. Thank you so much to all those who have stopped by, left encouraging comments and sent me friendly emails. It's nice to know I'm not talking to myself. I do that enough in my "real life." :)

I made this cupcake stand by gluing a Franciscan vintage saucer to a candlestick using China and Glass glue. The cloche is not glued to the paper base, nor is the vintage Easter ornament glued to the base. I left them unattached so that you could swap out the cart for your own scene to use year round. And the cupcake stand can be used with a cloche or used to serve pretty little petit fours at your next tea party. If you want a chance to win this Vintage Threads creation, leave a comment (on THIS POST)! I will be doing the drawing on Sunday.

And if you're looking for the Artsy Mama Party Stop...scroll down to the next post

Charity, I think your blog spot is one of the most beautiful and a wonderful place to come to. Somehow, I feel like I'm sitting on your porch in a rocking chair sipping flavored coffee and watching the sun come up. You did a beautiful job here and you are inspiring me to start. Since I love to write, I wonder what's holding me back. . . .????? Cora

Charity, what a beautiful and inspiring blog you have. How precious is that cloche; I love cloches, nestling little scenes under them to stick in little vignettes around the house. Ooooo, I would love to be in your drawing. And I will definitely be stopping back by your blog to see what's happening in your creative world!

Charity, your pages exude a warmth and grace that is lovely. Thanks for sharing your work with us. You have a knack for putting together colors and design that is exceptional. What a wonderful gift.

My mother-in-law has a friend that makes the candle holders out of candlesticks and saucers. Several of my siblings received one for Christmas last year. I think it would be fun to mix and match the different pieces, and each one would be unique. It's a great little recycling project and I'm sure that craft would sell well at craft shows.

Thanks again for sharing your charming work with us!
